Vehicular energy network (VEN), as an importantpart of the Internet of Things (IoT) for the smart city, canfacilitate the renewable energy (RE) transportation over a largegeographical area by means of electric vehicles (EVs) throughwireless power transfer technology. However, due to the potentialsecurity vulnerability in VEN, EV users can be attacked byexternal or internal adversaries. In addition, owing to theselfishness of EVs, it is of great challenge to optimally schedule thecharging/discharging behaviors of EVs to realize regional energybalance in VEN. To tackle the above issues, this paper proposesa b¯lockchain based s¯ecure i¯ncentive s¯cheme (BSIS) for energydelivery in VEN. Firstly, a novel permissioned energy blockchainsystem is introduced in VEN to implement secure energy deliveryservices for EVs and energy nodes through the use of distributedledgers and cryptocurrency. Secondly, a proof of reputation (PoR)consensus protocol is proposed to efficiently reach consensus inenergy blockchain, where the reputation derivation is constructedbased on the local trust computing and credibility computing.Thirdly, motivated by the pricing mechanism, an incentive modelis developed to stimulate EVs to cooperatively deliver RE tovarious areas with different electricity loads while maximizingEVs’ utilities. Finally, extensive numerical results are provided, which demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed scheme throughthe comparison with conventional schemes.
